Plant Operator Selangor Plant Operator Job Summary The Plant Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of Water and Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) systems to ensure continuous plant performance and compliance with environmental regulations. This role involves monitoring treatment processes, conducting routine inspections and testing, performing operational and maintenance activities, and maintaining accurate records to support the effective operation of the facility. The Plant Operator will work closely with the site team to ensure operational reliability, regulatory compliance, and a safe working environment. Responsibilities Report to the Site Supervisor and comply with all site instructions. Operate, monitor, and maintain Water and Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) systems to ensure efficient and uninterrupted operations. Perform routine inspections, process monitoring, sampling, and testing as instructed. Record and maintain accurate operational data, including plant parameters, chemical consumption, sludge generation, service reports, and daily log sheets. Ensure plant performance complies with operational requirements, environmental regulations, and DOE discharge standards. Monitor plant abnormalities and equipment performance, and promptly report issues, breakdowns, or process deviations to the Supervisor.
