About this role
Technical Program Manager, Low Carbon Deployments Santiago, Chile A problem isn't truly solved until it's solved for all. That's why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you'll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You'll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers. As a Program Manager for Low Carbon Deployments, you are responsible for operationalizing Google's Net Zero construction strategy. This role focuses on three critical decarbonization levers the deployment of low-carbon materials (e.g., concrete and steel), the transition to Renewable Diesel (HVO) across the fleet, and the electrification of construction equipment. You will lead efforts to integrate sustainability requirements into the construction phase of data center development, ensuring that construction outcomes support Google's committed 2030 climate goals. With a focus in LATAM and in the US, you will work closely with General Contractors (GCs) and the construction supply chain to scale up the use of renewable diesel for onsite equipment and initial generator fills while simultaneously driving the strategy to accelerate fossil-fuel-free construction sites through electrification pilots. Behind everything our users see online is the architecture built by the Technical Infrastructure team to keep it running. From developing and
