Why This Role Matters As a Mechanical Engineer, you will ensure equipment in the plant operates efficiently and continuously. You will apply preventive and predictive maintenance techniques, support maintenance planning, and work to minimize downtime while improving overall equipment reliability. What You'll Do Perform inspections, troubleshooting and reliability improvement activities on production equipment, including presses, mixers, extruders, conveyors and auxiliary machinery. Improve and troubleshoot machine-level equipment with hands-on expertise in hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems (pumps, valves, cylinders, heat exchangers, heating/cooling units). Execute and optimize preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance strategies in a 24/7 production environment. Provide technical leadership, coaching, and hands-on support to preventive and reactive maintenance teams, ensuring safe work practices (LOTO) and consistent technical standards. Analyze breakdowns, chronic failures, and production losses using SAP PM and KPIs (MTTR, MTBF, availability) to drive reliability improvements. Apply advanced predictive diagnostics (vibration analysis, ultrasound, thermography, motor circuit analysis) on rotating and safety-critical equipment. Define lubrication strategies, implement automatic lubrication systems, and standardize spare parts strategies based on asset criticality and lifecycle cost. Participate
