Sustainability Strategist Lead US OH Akron Corp Hdqtrs The Sustainability Strategist Lead drives Goodyear's human and labor rights program by independently partnering with business leaders to assess risks and opportunities and develop strategies, policies, metrics, and action plans. The role builds human and labor rights expertise, educates leaders on customer requests, regulatory developments, and industry best practices, and develops reporting content to support transparency and meet stakeholder needs. It also contributes to enterprise risk management and governance through internal councils and working groups. Additionally, the strategist analyzes data, evaluates current state practices, and co-creates solutions to address complex sustainability challenges across the business. What You 'll Do Strategy Development: Work independently with business leaders on assigned sustainability topics, with a primary focus on human and labor rights. Work with leaders to assess Goodyear's risks and opportunities, prioritize focus areas, develop strategies, policies, metrics, targets, and action plans to manage risks and opportunities. Identify any new/enhanced systems, tools, and processes needed to effectively manage these material sustainability topics and help secure/develop these items (as needed). Awareness and Education: Research, build expertise, and educate business leaders on these assigned topics (ex. sustainability-related regulatory developments, risks and opportunities, stakeholder requests, voluntary and mandatory reporting requirements, hot topics, benchmarking, best practices, standards, and/or certifications). Stakeholder Requests and Reporting: Develop reporting content for the sustainability topics being led, primarily human and labor rights.
