Why This Role Matters Supports accurate and timely tax compliance, facilitating the organization's need to meet regulatory obligations and reduce risk Plays a key role in maintaining strong financial controls and ensuring the integrity of tax reporting across the business Provides valuable support during audits and helps resolve tax-related issues efficiently Contributes to process improvements that enhance efficiency and scalability within the tax function and at Goodyear overall What You Will Do Support indirect tax compliance activities, including sales and use tax and business licenses, by coordinating with third-party providers and reviewing filings Maintain exemption certificates and support documentation needed for audits and compliance reviews Assist in the preparation and review of income and indirect tax returns prepared internally, ensuring accurate and timely filings Calculate state apportionment factors using financial and operational data Track key deadlines and maintain the tax calendar to ensure all filings and payments are completed on time Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and support
