Industrial Engineer US OK Lawton Plt 0153 The Industrial Engineer is responsible for developing and maintaining wage incentive plans while optimizing labor and equipment utilization across the plant. This role partners closely with production, engineering, and management teams to drive efficiency, support production goals, and resolve labor-related challenges. The position also serves as a key liaison in union environments, including participation in grievance resolution and arbitration processes. Through data-driven analysis and continuous improvement initiatives, this role contributes to overall operational excellence. Why This Role Matters Drives operational efficiency by optimizing labor utilization, staffing, and production processes. Supports business performance by providing data-driven insights and recommendations to management. Plays a critical role in maintaining positive labor relations, including grievance resolution and arbitration support. Contributes to continuous improvement and cost-effective operations through collaboration with cross-functional teams. What You Will Do Develop and maintain time standards, wage incentive plans, and productivity metrics using established methodologies. Analyze jobs and workflows to assess responsibilities, physical demands, ergonomics, and skill requirements. Determine staffing needs and adjust labor requirements based on production demands and plant capacity. Partner with engineering to conduct efficiency studies, support capital expenditure justifications, and improve plant layout. Support production teams by addressing labor issues, resolving grievances, and acting as a resource for workforce-related challenges. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and recommend enhancements to pay structures and operational processes. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in engineering.
