About this role
Outbound Product Manager, GitHub Advanced Security United States About GitHub GitHub is the world's leading platform for agentic software development - powered by Copilot to build, scale, and deliver secure software. Over 180 million developers, including more than 90% of the Fortune 100 companies, use GitHub to collaborate, and more than 77,000 organisations have adopted GitHub Copilot. Locations In this role you can work from Remote, United States Overview GitHub is changing the way the world builds and secures software, and we want you to help build GitHub! We're looking for an Outbound Product Manager who will be the market-facing advocate for GitHub's security portfolio. You'll translate deep product knowledge into compelling narratives for every audience - from developers to CISOs - and build GitHub's presence as the recognized leader in agentic security. This role requires someone who can go deep on the product, speak credibly to both practitioners and executives, and become a visible voice in the application security community. You'll partner with Product Management for product depth, Product Marketing for launch coordination, and Sales for field insight, but your primary job is outward-facing: advocating for the product, translating its value across audiences, competing in the market, and shaping the public narrative. Responsibilities Translate GitHub's agentic security platform story into audience-specific value propositions, articulating risk reduction and compliance for CISOs, platform consolidation and architecture for CTOs, workflow integration and developer experience for engineers, and ROI and cost efficiency for CFOs. Win each room with messaging grounded in deep product
