Location: Bengaluru / Chennai Shift: US Time Zone (Night Shift) Overview Five9 is transforming customer engagement with intelligent cloud contact center solutions. We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Revenue Accountant to join our growing India Finance team. This role will primarily support global revenue accounting operations (U.S. GAAP) while partnering closely with U.S.-based stakeholders. The ideal candidate brings strong SaaS revenue recognition expertise, audit experience, and thrives in a high-growth, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities - Review and assess sales contracts to ensure appropriate revenue treatment in accordance with U.S. GAAP and ASC 606 guidelines. - Ensure revenue recognition complies with company policy and SaaS accounting standards. - Prepare deal and contract summaries for material completed transactions. - Record and prepare journal entries for revenue, deferred revenue, accounts receivable, and related accounts on a global basis. - Support month-end and quarter-end close activities, including reconciliations and variance analysis. - Assist with external and internal audits by preparing reconciliations, supporting documentation, and coordinating with auditors. - Collaborate closely with Sales Operations, Customer Support, Billing, and Collections teams (primarily U.S.-based)
