Job Summary The facilities electrical engineer will own the design, planning, delivery and operations of technical infrastructure for Etched facilities. This position will be responsible for bridging the gap from internal stakeholder teams developing products to facilitate high performance operational infrastructure in place to facilitate test and development from chip to data center. The right candidate brings deep design, commissioning, project management and operational experience from a mission-critical environment - data center, biotech/pharma, or high-tech fab/manufacturing - and is comfortable owning systems end-to-end. Key Responsibilities - Conduct site assessments against internal standards and requirements for lab and rack test environments. - Develop internal schematic designs as well as review vendor infrastructure designs with risk analysis and performance characterization - Perform design and equipment submittal reviews for new builds and retrofit projects - Troubleshoot and Root Cause Analysis to determine system and equipment issues. Develop project designs and manage vendor through remediation - Support operational issues with training, ops and procedure
