EQT is seeking a Compression Optimization Engineer to serve as the primary engineering resource for assigned compressor stations. This role is highly field-focused and works closely with operations and maintenance teams to diagnose equipment issues, improve reliability, and optimize the performance of natural gas compression assets. The Compression Optimization Engineer will support reciprocating compressors and natural gas engines by troubleshooting mechanical and operational issues, supporting major maintenance events, and implementing reliability improvements that maximize throughput, efficiency, and equipment life. The Compression Optimization Engineer I/II/III responsibilities include but are not limited to: Serve as the primary engineering resource for assigned compressor stations, spending significant time in the field supporting operations and maintenance teams.
