About this role
Data Center Infrastructure Engineer (Req#1248) Remote - India Overview As a Data Center Engineer, you will design, deploy, and operate modern infrastructure environments. This role requires deep expertise in Kubernetes, automation, virtualization, and networking, with a strong focus on building scalable, repeatable, and production-grade platforms. Your Impact The essential functions of this position include: - Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes-based platforms in production - Implement and manage automation frameworks for infrastructure provisioning and operations - Administer and optimize VMware environments (vSphere, ESXi , vCenter) - Support infrastructure across compute, storage, and networking layers - Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code ( IaC ) using automation tools - Troubleshoot performance, scalability, and availability issues - Automate deployment workflows and operational tasks - Collaborate with architecture and delivery teams on solution design ** All engineers are required to provide on-call technical support, both remotely and on-site, outside of normal business hours, including weekends and holidays, on a rotating basis.* * Qualifications Basic Qualifications: - 5-10 years of relevant, hands‑on experience in infrastructure and data center engineering - Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated hands on experience with Kubernetes required - Strong experience with automation tools: - Ansible (configuration management, orchestration) - Terraform (infrastructure provisioning / IaC ) - Experience with VMware (vSphere, ESXi , vCenter) - Solid understanding of data center networking: - TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching - Load balancing, firewalls - Strong Linux systems administration skills Preferred Skills: - Experience troubleshooting across infra + platform layers - Experience with Red Hat
