Telecommunications Tech City Jackson Job Title: Work Place Flexibility: Legal Entity: *This position will be filled as a Telecommunications Technician based on the qualifications and experience of the selected candidate* Successful completion of the EEI TECH test is required to be considered for this position This position is designated as a Safety Sensitive position and is subject to mandatory pre-employment and random drug testing Job Summary/Purpose: Candidate must have the ability to independently plan and coordinate detailed work activities under general supervision including executing routine to advanced tasks involving the installation, configuring, networking, provisioning, and technical support of diverse telecommunications systems and network infrastructure components. Job Duties/Responsibilities: Support and execute telecom network circuit provisioning, fault isolation, and resolution. Perform installation, relocation, and modification of system hardware, and assist in diagnosing and restoring service during outages. Experience in Mesh Network Technologies and AMI/DA Revise and execute work orders accurately, efficiently and in a timely manner. Must be proficient and knowledgeable in IP networking to include ISIS, BGP, MPLS-TE routing protocols.
