Supv, Fleet Maintenance State Texas | City Conroe Job Title: Work Place Flexibility: Legal Entity: JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE: Supervise the fleet maintenance and repair functions, employees, and service facilities in assigned area. JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all users and stakeholders. Develop key vendor relationships that will ensure quality service, maintenance and repair. Be the subject matter expert to all customers in matters related to fleet asset performance, maintenance and repair. Establish fleet asset repair and maintenance agreements to meet the operational needs of customers at the most favorable terms. Actively participate in the Fleet Management department's safety program creating and sustaining a safe and healthy work environment.? Act as the Safety Leader for your assigned area. Ensure that fleet maintenance operations and vehicles in the assigned area comply with all Department of Transportation and environmental regulations. Determine the most cost effective and advantageous method of fleet asset repair and maintenance. Control field fleet asset up-fit to ensure customer focus on standardization.? Control unauthorized and unnecessary up-fitting. Monitor fleet asset performance and work with users and suppliers to resolve all operations, quality and safety concerns.
