Superintendent Outage & Process State Texas | City The Woodlands Job Title: Work Place Flexibility: Legal Entity: JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE: Develops long range outage plans and budgets, executes planned outages and large capital projects, manages the Condition Based Outage process, Boiler Tube Failure Reduction process, Outage Stage Gate Process, Risk Register and the 5 year budget plan and project management as needed and assigned. This position is designated as a Safety Sensitive position and is subject to mandatory pre-employment and random drug testing. JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversees long range and detailed planning and execution of unit outages according to the outage stage gate process Manages cost, schedule and safety processes for outage scopes of work Interfaces with Plant Management personnel to communicate and drive to resolution of key issues impacting project / outage Coaches project managers as necessary to deliver expected financial, safety and schedule results on outage scopes, projects, Outage Stage Gate Reviews, ECD/CBO and 5 year budget planning Oversees and manages the LTSA contracts Participate in plant monthly ROP meetings Understands, negotiates, and influences contract language for vendors / contractors to protect Entergy's best interest MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Minimum education required of the position: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or in related field or equivalent work experience Minimum experience required of the position: Must have 5 years of Power Plant Main
