Regional Material Rep, I, II, Sr State Texas | City Beaumont Job Title: Work Place Flexibility: Legal Entity: JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE The Regional Material Rep - Transmission (RMR) reports to the Supervisor, Warehouse Operations for transmission. This position is a key internal and external stakeholder interface and champions efficiency, accuracy, and cost management of warehouse activities including storing, receiving, cycle counting, scheduling, picking and shipping of transmission materials from the distribution center. The role will engage in supply chain and logistics functions including, but not limited to, demand planning, inventory control, compliance activities, and logistics. The RMR drives integrated processes among internal functions such as design engineering, construction, design basis, transmission operations, purchasing, logistics and outside suppliers and focuses their efforts on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through various stages of the supply chain processes. JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Safety/Human Performance: Actively promote strong safety behaviors, utilizing key tools such as Close Call /Good Catch in addition to proactive field visits to review standards and behaviors. Influence suppliers and team members to proactively identify any safety concerns and mitigation efforts.
