Radiation Protection Operations Supervisor City Killona Work Place Flexibility: Legal Entity: Job Summary/Purpose: Provides first line supervision of Entergy full time and temporary Radiation Protection Operations personnel in a safe, productive manner. Supervises the daily RP Operations tasks including on shift activities. Manages multiple and possibly conflicting priorities. Job Duties/Responsibilities: Is proficient at managing a multi-disciplined group possibly including union and contractor oversight. Maintains an excellent understanding of the work management process. Functions as a team leader. Assists in the RP budget development and function within the budget. Communicates with all levels of the organization including representing the department at all meetings. Ensures assigned tasks are performed as safely and efficiently as possible. Proposes time saving tooling and work methods. Ensures all RP activities are performed within regulatory and procedural guidelines. Manages personnel and resolves employee conflict or concerns. Interfaces with other Entergy sites to maximize resource sharing of RP personnel. Interfaces with regulatory and industry representatives on behalf of station activities. Communicates technical Radiation Protection information, concepts, and ideas verbally and in writing. Participates in the shared resources program. Serves as a member of the Emergency Response Organization. Minimum Requirements: Minimum education required for the position: B.S. in Health Physics or related technical degree may be c
