Project Engineer State Texas | City The Woodlands Work Place Flexibility: Legal Entity: **Selected candidate will be placed at title of Project Engineer Sr or Project Engineer Lead based on education, experience, and demonstrated success at the Engineer level.** **This is an onsite role that will be filled in The Woodlands, TX. Those outside the area will need to relocate.** JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE As a key member of the Project Execution team, the Project Engineer serves as the Owner's Engineer and technical assurance lead for large-scale ($1bn +) greenfield power-generation projects within the Entergy Texas service territory. While the role is based out of the Woodlands, TX office, travel to the assigned project site for extended periods of time should be expected. This role functions as the primary technical representative for combined-cycle and simple-cycle generation projects executed under EPC turnkey and lumpsum contracting models. The position is responsible for providing independent engineering oversight, technical governance, and engineering quality assurance throughout all phases of project execution. The Project Engineer does not perform detailed engineering but instead leads Owner-side technical review and validation of EPC engineering and construction deliverables to ensure compliance with project requirements, Entergy standards, constructability expectations, operability objectives, and long-term asset reliability goals.
