GIS Helper Assistant or GIS Assistant State Texas | City The Woodlands Work Place Flexibility: Legal Entity: JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Under close supervision, following specific instructions as to methods and working details must be willing and able to perform the more elementary drafting, prepare dimension drawings, keep map and operating records, operate copying equipment, and be qualified to do the following and related work in the department to which he/she is assigned: This position is designated as a Safety Sensitive position and is subject to mandatory pre-employment and random drug testing. 1. Prepare to-scale simple drawings and tracings. 2. Make simple checks and minor alterations of drawings by comparing dimensions. 3. Make field sketches as directed. 4. Perform and assist in general and miscellaneous work in and out of office. 5. Prepare records and reports and perform necessary housekeeping. 6. Operate Company's light duty vehicles. B. EXPERIENCE AND SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Must have one of the following: One year field operations experience (Transmission Line or Substation, Distribution Line or Service, Field Metering, or Storeroom), OR Completion of Entergy's Technical Personal Development Program (TPDP), OR 2 Year Technical Associate Degree in a related field from an accredited school, OR A minimum of 60 College hours toward a 4-year degree in a related field from an accredited school, AND 2.
