Apprentice 4th Yr. - Journeyman Lineman State Arkansas | City Mountain View Work Place Flexibility: Legal Entity: ***This position will be filled as an Apprentice 4th Year - Journeyman Lineman, depending upon experience*** APPRENTICE 4TH YEAR JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Under directive supervision, with limited latitude for planning or laying out of working details, must know, understand, and be willing and able to apply all applicable Company construction specifications in order to perform high and low voltage line work involved in the construction and maintenance of electric transmission, underground and distribution dead or energized conductors, structures and equipment, and be qualified to do the following and related work as assigned: 1. Use hot line tools. 2. Work on all types of conductors. 3. Install all types of transformer installations, make tap changes and install primary metering equipment. 4. Locate trouble and restore service on all classes of lines, substations, sectionalizing equipment, etc. 5. Make underground and submarine cable installations, including the making of joints and installation of potheads. 6. Install pole type regulators and transformers to boost or buck line voltage. 7. Phase and check rotation in circuits direct and with potential transformers. 8. Make field tests of distribution transformers. 9. Check for ground faults on circuits or equipment. 10.
