Software Engineer - SCADA Country India Role Summary: This role requires understanding, troubleshooting, maintenance and change implementation of the current SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) system developed on Ignition Platform and should be able to troubleshoot the CodeSys related issues. The person should have experience of handling SCADA system. Experience in Energy Management would be additional advantage. Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining SCADA systems using Inductive Automation's Ignition platform. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and deploy site-level and central monitoring systems. Develop and configure HMI screens, data tags, alarms, and reports to meet operational and project requirements. Integrate data from various field devices (PLCs, RTUs, sensors, databases, etc.) into the SCADA system. Support commissioning, troubleshooting, and enhancements of live SCADA systems. Maintain documentation, standards, and version control for SCADA configurations and deployments. Adhere to industry best practices, cybersecurity guidelines, and safety protocols. Work closely with operations and support teams to analyze system issues and implement corrective actions.
