Senior Business Developer Country United Arab Emirates Job Title Senior Business Developer -Renewables & Batteries Department Business Development Reporting To Head of Business Development Role Purpose The Senior Business Developer - Renewables & Batteries is responsible for originating, structuring, and securing new growth opportunities across renewable and low‑carbon energy sectors. The role focuses on building a robust project and partnership pipeline, supporting investments from early development through financial close, and contributing to the company's long-term energy transition strategy. Key Responsibilities Market & Opportunity Origination Identify and originate business opportunities in renewable and low-carbon energy sectors, including solar PV, wind, battery energy storage (BESS). Manage and oversee the end-to-end bid and proposal process, managing cross-functional teams, overseeing and reviewing all bids, and leading the design and submission of competitive proposals to offtakers in GCC region, in line with our business development strategies, plans and standards. Conduct market assessments covering regulation, tariffs, PPA structures, grid access, and incentive mechanisms Analyse competitor landscape, technology trends, and policy developments impacting renewable investments Project & Deal Development Lead opportunity screening from early-stage development through investment approval and financial close Coordinate feasibility studies, site origination, permitting strategy, and stakeholder mapping Once a development
