About this role
NDT Technician - Trainee (UAE National) Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates To perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) techniques on components, pipework and structural assemblies to assess compliance with applicable specifications and acceptance criteria. Functions ESSENTIAL [Post NDT Training] Undertake Visual Testing [VT], Ultrasonic Testing [UT], Magnetic Particle Testing [MT], Penetrant Testing [PT], Radiographic Testing [RT], Eddy Current Testing {ET] techniques to components requiring inspection. Ensure that work area is safe to carry out NDT activities. Undertake Risk Assessments/Take 2 as required. Ensure inspection is undertaken within the parameters of the applicable specification. Perform routine equipment / consumable function tests to ensure everything is in good working order. Any issues must be reported directly to supervision. Evaluate results of the test in accordance with applicable specification. Produce a clear and concise report detailing the methods used in and results of the inspection and all finding noting any limitations / test restrictions is applicable. Undertake work in a timely and efficient manner to meet deadlines, changing priorities when the situation requires Undertake work in accordance with Oceaneering & Client operating procedures and statutory/client specifications and requirements. Undertake any other duties of a reasonable nature as required by Oceaneering Management Execute work in accordance with Oceaneering Health, Safety, Security, Environmental and Quality Systems.
