Chief Information Officer South Africa Country South Africa The Chief Information Officer will focus on: Key Responsibilities: Leadership and Digital Harmonization: Lead the formulation and execution of the RSA Digital and IT strategy, ensuring alignment across the Group's overall digital objectives, whether from GBUs or Functions, avoiding overlaps, with a focus on deploying consistent, standardized digital solutions across the platform. Oversee the integration of global Group transformation projects such as GET and GDIT common services if not delivered by GBS IT. Ensures these projects are effectively implemented and adapted to the local context. Develop local solutions where harmonization is not possible due to geographical specificities. Drive the implementation of the Digital and IT Target Operating Model (TOM) to streamline processes, optimize resource allocation, and strengthen strong ways of working fostering a high-performance IT environment. Establish a strong and sustainable network of external and internal alliances. Support GBUs locally on their business scope and transformation. Operational Excellence, Cybersecurity, IT Governance and Compliance: Ensure the effective execution of all operational tasks by both internal teams and external service providers, driving continuous improvement and operational excellence across IT services.
