About this role
Business Analyst Mont Royal Job Summary The Business Analyst, Finance will support a broad range of initiatives across the Finance function, with a strong focus on continuous improvement, process optimization, analytics, and cross functional collaboration. Reporting to the Corporate Controller, this role partners closely with Finance leadership, Operations and IT to improve financial processes, reporting, controls, and decision making in a complex, high volume retail environment. Key Accountabilities • Support the planning, design, and execution of continuous improvement initiatives across the Finance group; • Conduct gap analyses to identify inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities for process and system improvements; develop and recommend practical solutions; • Partner with cross functional teams (Finance, Operations, IT) to document business requirements, analyze data, establish timelines and priorities, and optimize end to end business processes; • Prepare and deliver analytical reports, dashboards, and ad hoc analyses to support Finance leadership and operational decision making; • Support the planning, coordination, and optimization of internal inventory counts across more than 1,650 stores nationwide; • Prepare quarterly inventory count results and updates to Regional District Managers; • Coordinate the planning, design, and execution of improvements related to environmental and regulatory compliance reporting and audit readiness; • Participate in vendor reviews and evaluations to ensure cost eff
