Supervisory Social Worker- CHOS (HUD-VASH) Tacoma, Washington Summary The Community Housing and Outreach Services (CHOS) Social Work Supervisor ensures for program integrity, overseeing the utilization of Housing and Urban Development - Veteran Affairs Supported Housing (HUD-VASH) Program vouchers in their coverage area within the VA Puget Sound. May also supervise staff from other CHOS programs, as assigned. Duties Total Rewards of a Allied Health Professional Duties will include, but are not limited to: The supervisory social worker is responsible for the professional and administrative management of an area in a social work service, in a care/product line, or multiple facilities. They provide direct clinical services with or without program coordination responsibilities. The Community Housing and Outreach Services (CHOS) Social Work Supervisor ensures for program integrity, overseeing the utilization of Housing and Urban Development - Veteran Affairs Supported Housing (HUD-VASH) Program vouchers in their coverage area within the VA Puget Sound. develops, implements, and documents the psychosocial assessment, treatment plan, progress notes and updates, and discharge planning for provision of clinical services to Veterans, including prompt completion of clinical reminders provides consultation to health care providers about assessment findings and treatment plans for Veterans, so that care is coordinated, collaborative, and integrated within the medical center. provides leadership in identifying and addressing ethical issues that impact patients and staff, including initiating and participating in ethical consultations The incumbent is responsible for furthering the goals of equal employment opportunity (EEO) by taking positive steps to assure the accomplishment of affirmative action objectives
