About this role

Supervisory Audiologist Tuskegee, Alabama Summary This position is located in the Geriatrics and Extended Care at the Tuskegee VA Medical Center, Tuskegee, Alabama. The Supervisory Audiologist has the overall responsibility for the Audiology and Speech Language section. The incumbent has the responsibility for general supervision of clinical and/or training programs, and overall technical and administrative oversight for operations within the service. Duties Duties include but not limited to: Develops, organizes, directs, manages, supervises, controls, and implements policies and procedures for the Audiology and Speech Pathology sections. Plan, monitor, and evaluate programs to ensure proper coordination within the sections and with other facility programs. Define, assign and delegate duties and responsibilities. Evaluate the work of employees. Administer appropriate disciplinary actions. Ensures that audiologists comply with all VHA and Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) compensation and pension (C&P) exam and reporting requirements; and ensuring that the content of C&P exams and opinions conform to VBA- approved exams templates. Direct supervision of professional and technical staff. Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 am-4:30 pm. Work schedule subject to change based on agency needs.
