Staff Psychologist - Behavioral Health Interdisciplinary Program (BHIP) Indianapolis, Indiana Summary This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific individual eligibility requirements in accordance with VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) and eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after complete review of the EDRP application. Duties A full range of psychodiagnostic services including assessment, and using the most appropriate, evidence-based psychotherapeutic techniques in providing quality care in the delivery of a full range of psychological and multidisciplinary services in the outpatient programs of the Behavioral Health Interdisciplinary Program of Veterans Health Indiana and at other locations as required The incumbent may participate in telemental health or similar activities in order to provide service for Veterans located a prohibitive distance from VA facilities The incumbent provides evidence-based therapies, including but not limited to Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). For all clinical duties, the incumbent works in the BHIP team, participates in interdisciplinary team dispositions of patients within the BHIP, and provides consultation services to medical center and CBOC staff on a wide variety of patient care issues The incumbent provides ethical individual and group mental health services to eligible Veterans diagnosed with mental and behavioral health conditions.
