About this role

Senior Social Worker- MH & BSS Multiple Locations Summary This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific eligibility requirements per VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) & eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after review of the EDRP application. Duties VA Careers - Social Work: https://youtube.com/embed/enRhz_ua_UUHelp Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Incumbent performs specialized treatment of complex mental illness. Incumbent incorporates complex multiple causation in differential diagnosis and treatment of Veteran patients. Develops and implements methods for measuring effectiveness of practice and services in specialty areas, utilizing outcome evaluations to improve treatment services. Offers consultation to colleagues and students on the psychosocial treatment of patients treated in specialty areas, rendering professional opinions based on experience and expertise and role modeling effective practice skills. Demonstrates the ability to teach and mentor staff and students in the special area of practice and to provide supervision for licensure or specialty certifications. Performs work related to the review, monitoring, analysis, planning and assessment of various programs. Incumbent must possess the ability to organize work, set priorities, meet multiple deadlines, and evaluate assigned program area(s). Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 08:00am - 04:30pm (although must be amenable to work outside normal tour of duty as a manager/supervisor to address emergent needs of Veterans/programs/facility Telework:
