About this role

Podiatrist (Surgery Rearfoot/Ankle) Fresno, California Summary This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific eligibility requirements per VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) & eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after review of the EDRP application. Former EDRP participants ineligible to apply. Duties **This is an OPEN CONTINUOUS ANNOUNCEMENT and will remain open until September 18th, 2026. The initial cut-off date for referral of eligible applications will be April 27th, 2026, with subsequent cut-off dates every 2 weeks. Eligible applications received after that date will be accepted on an ongoing basis and qualified candidates will be considered as vacancies become available.** VA offers a comprehensive total rewards package. The Podiatrist is a specialty professional in the care of Podiatry. The podiatrist will evaluate and treat patients for any disease which need surgical/Podiatry diagnosis and/or treatment to achieve palliation or cure. The Podiatrist will have assigned OR time and clinic time. Surgical Department strives to maintain a safe working environment, in which we identify and address issues and concerns as they relate to safety and well-being within the Podiatry Section. Major duties include, but not limited to: Administrative duties designated by the Chief of Surgery.
