About this role

Physician (Radiology-Diagnostic) - Assistant Chief Gainesville, Florida Summary North Florida/ South Georgia VA Healthcare System's Imaging Service is seeking an experienced and well rounded Radiologist-Assistant Chief. Ideal applicants are those who want to contribute to the achievement of quality care standards, as well as the growth and development of a VA academic hospital program. Duties This is an open continuous announcement that will remain open until filled. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis. Eligible applicants will be referred each week for consideration until a selection is made. Applicant's Note: This position is eligible for remote work and is exempted from return to office requirements. Remote exempted positions are reviewed annually and do not imply permanent remote work status. This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific individual eligibility requirements in accordance with VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) and eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after complete review of the EDRP application. EDRP is not an appropriate incentive for highly administrative positions that are not providing more than 50% direct patient care in their roles and/or are directly supervising those that provide direct patient care.
