Physician, Interventional Radiologist with EDRP and Recruitment/Relocation Incentive San Antonio, Texas Summary This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific eligibility requirements per VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) & eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program after review of the EDRP application. Former EDRP participants ineligible to apply. Duties This is an OPEN CONTINUOUS ANNOUNCEMENT & will remain open until September 30, 2026 or until positions are filled. First cutoff will be May 20, 2026 and after that date eligible applications received will be referred at regular intervals or as additional vacancies occur. The incumbent is assigned as an Interventional Radiologist to the Imaging Service and reports to the Interventional Radiologist Section Chief. Clinical Duties: As a staff radiologist, the incumbent will be responsible for all aspects of the Imaging Services throughout the STVHCS. The radiologist must demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide interventional services (including, but not limited to the following). The physician must possess sufficient computer skills needed to work with advanced PACs and voice recognition systems. The radiologist will be responsible for timely interpretation and communication of the imaging results (including entry into digital medical record and verbal notification of critical findings). The radiologist is required to provide consultation
