About this role

Physician- Geriatrics HBPC Medical Director Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Summary This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific eligibility requirements per VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) & eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after review of the EDRP application. Former EDRP participants ineligible to apply. Duties The physician will dedicate 30-70% of time, daily, ensuring high-quality and safe daily operations our Home-Based Primary Care Program. The major aspects of work are focused on program leadership, program management, quality assurance, performance improvement, and other specific duties and coverage as assigned. The balance of time will be utilized to manage a small panel of HBPC Veterans and to serve in rotation for other clinical assignments within GEC as scheduled or assigned.
