MEDICAL INSTRUMENT TECHNICIAN (ULTRASOUND SONOGRAPHER) Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Summary This is an open continuous announcement until 30 September, 2026. Qualified applicants will be considered and referred as vacancies become available. The Ultrasound Technologist coordinates a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment and initiative in the application of non-ionizing high frequency ultrasonic waves to humans for diagnosis of disease. On-call every 5th weekend Friday, Saturday and Sunday with occasional weekday call responsibility. Duties Diagnostic Ultrasound Technicians operate diagnostic ultrasonic scanning equipment to produce cross sectional and two dimensional pictures of internal organs and body structures used to diagnose diseases and other medical conditions. Work Schedule: 8am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday Compressed/Flexible: Not Available Telework: Not Authorized Virtual: This is not a virtual position.
