About this role
Deputy Chief of Geriatrics and Extended Care Bronx, New York Summary Education and length of practice are considered through a formal pay-setting process to determine the final compensable salary (Base Pay + Market Pay) Duties This position will function as Deputy Chief of Geriatrics and Extended Care (GEC), and Medical Director of Home Based Primary Care (HBPC). The incumbent will be responsible for professional peer review, organizational improvement, continuing education, scopes of practice, clinical privileging, and other quality and process improvement activities to meet annual performance measures and monitors as identified by facility and higher-level management/program officials within and outside of the VA. The incumbent must possess strong leadership qualities and will assist the Chief of GEC with these administrative and clinical responsibilities. VA offers a comprehensive total rewards package.
