Clinical Psychologist - BHIP Outpatient (Open Continuous Announcement) Henrico County, Virginia Summary This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP) a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific eligibility requirements per VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program Approval award amount (up to $200,000) & eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after review of the EDRP application Former EDRP participants ineligible to apply. Duties VA Careers - Psychologist: https://youtube.com/embed/77qHlLw9Xck Total Rewards of a Allied Health Professional This is an Open Continuous Announcement that will be used to fill vacant positions at The Richmond VA Health Care System- Henrico County CBOCs, Mental Health Department. The Clinical Psychologist provides psychodiagnostics assessments, individual therapy, group therapy, crisis intervention, and other psychological services. The individual will function as part of a multi-disciplinary team to include psychiatrists, psychologists, nurse practitioners, social workers, licensed mental health professionals, nurses, psychology technicians and other disciplines. Clinical Responsibilities (85% of time)- Provides a full range of psycho-diagnostic services including assessment and utilization of best practices in implementing psychotherapeutic techniques to provide quality care.- Provides psychotherapy as individual, group &/or family interventions are provided when clinically indicated/appropriate and when of therapeutic benefit to the recipients. The interventions are provided with emphasis on development of a positive and appropriate therapeutic relationship which is sensitive to the clinical, cultural, developmental and spiritual needs of patients.
