RECREATION ASSISTANT NF2* (FLEX) INFORMATION, TICKETS & TOURS (ITT) OFFICE Kaneohe, Hawaii Summary Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is looking for the best and brightest to join our Team! MCCS is a comprehensive program that supports and enhances the quality of life for Marines, their families, and others in the Marine Corps Community. We offer a team oriented environment comprised of military personnel, civilian employees, contractors and volunteers who keep the organization functioning smoothly and effectively. Duties Incumbent is assigned to one or more specialized recreational activities such as the following: ITT Offices & Tradewind Travel/Leisure Travel. Performs and/or assists in the operation of the ITT Office activity. Based on established policies, incumbent carries out assigned phases of designated activity applying an understanding of the interest and needs of program participants. Typical assignments may include: Provides information and sells tickets to patrons on local entertainment and other activities such as sporting events, concerts, outer-Island tours, etc. Incumbent must be proactive in becoming familiar with these activities and reservation procedures of vendors. Maintains daily sales report, daily account report, and expenditures; reviews vendor invoices and resolves billing disputes, and effects adjustments for discounts and service charges. Helps to plan and coordinate details of recreational activities and maintains related supplies. Assists in planning, scheduling and publicizing various activities to attract and motivate participants. Plans leisure travel within Hawaii to include air, room, car and cruises. Ensures adherence to safety rules and regulations. Provides World Class Customer Service with an emphasis on courtesy.
