About this role
Vessel Chief Steward Morgan City, LA, United States Oceaneering is a global provider of engineered services and products, primarily to the offshore energy industry. We develop products and services for use throughout the lifecycle of an offshore oilfield, from drilling to decommissioning. We operate the world's premier fleet of work class ROVs. Additionally, we are a leader in offshore oilfield maintenance services, umbilicals, subsea hardware, and tooling. We also use applied technology expertise to serve the defense, ESSENTIAL: Oversees galley operations, plans menus, oversees preparation of balanced meals to POB up to 110, accommodating dietary needs and cultural preferences. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of galley, pantry, mess rooms, and accommodation spaces to company standards. Implement and comply with food safety management systems (e.g., HACCP) and sanitat REQUIRED: Minimum 2 years' experience as Chief Steward/Steward Cook or similar role on offshore vessels or platforms. Knowledge of food safety standards and catering operations (HACCP, allergen control, temperature logging). TWIC and valid USCG Merchant Marine Credential Valid passport.
