PAINTER LEADER (EXPERT) Pearl Harbor Naval Base, Oahu, Hawaii Summary You will serve as a PAINTER LEADER (EXPERT) in the PRODUCTION RESOURCES DEPARTMENT of PEARL HARBOR NAVAL SHIPYARD & IMF within the DEPARTMENT OF THE NAVY. Duties You will perform abrasive blast on the exterior and interior of ships and submarines above and below ground level from various heights. You will perform just-in-time diagnostic and troubleshooting to prevent loss of product. You will ensure other workers follow instructions received from supervisors to meet deadlines. You will assure safety and housekeeping rules are followed (for example, assuring that limits of safe machine operation are not exceeded and that all tools are used properly). You will ensure that needed plans, blueprints, materials, and tools are available, and that needed stock is obtained from supply locations.
