About this role
LEAD POLICE OFFICER Port Hueneme, California Summary You will serve as a LEAD POLICE OFFICER in the FORCE PROTECTION (N34) of NAVBASE VENTURA COUNTY SEC. Duties You will serve as a Lead Police Officer, typically referred to as Sergeants, and will be responsible to your supervisor for ensuring that the work assignments of the other employees of the team are carried out by performing a range of duties. You will provide advanced Anti-Terrorism (AT), Physical Security (PS), Law Enforcement (LE), and Reaction Force (RF) expertise/support at specified CNIC Navy Installations and activities. You will estimate and report on expected time of completion of work, and maintain records of work accomplishments and time expended and prepare production reports as requested. You will give on-the-job training to new employees in accordance with established procedures and practices. You will respond to and investigate complaints while interpreting and enforcing state and federal laws, the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ), DoD, and Navy regulations, and installation directives, rules and regulations. You will Conduct preliminary and non-criminal investigations in compliance with probable cause requirements.
