About this role
FACILITY SUPPORT CONTRACTS BRANCH HEAD Multiple Locations Summary You will serve as a Facility Support Contracts Branch Head in the Expeditionary Department of NAVAL FACILITIES ENG COMMAND ATLANTIC. **This position is a 100% TDY to Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti, Africa. This is a full-time temporary assignment not to exceed 1 year. May be filled as a temporary promotion or a temporary reassignment. Duties You will assign work to subordinates to specific contracts, ensuring contract assessments meet FAR, DoD, Navy and NAVFAC requirements and methodologies. You will manage initial contract development, technical aspects of modifications and task orders and tracking of corresponding funding to accompany contract actions. You will coordinate with clients and Facilities Management Division (FMD) to identify public works and installation support requirements and ensure appropriate service contract tools are in place to meet those requirements. You will provide management oversight of contracts, supervision of performance assessment personnel, and indirectly monitors contractor performance by reviewing performance assessment records. You will ensure all submittals and deliverables are received and reviewed in accordance with contract requirements prior to service contract work and minor construction work.
