ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN Cutler, Maine Summary This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Duties You will serve as an Electronics Technician in the Operations Transmitter Desk Watch (N31), Operations Division (N3) at NCTAMS LANT Detachment Cutler, ME. You will operate, maintain, test, overhaul, modify, align, and repair Very Low Frequency transmitter system such as Complex Alternating Current and Direct Current control systems, High Voltage breakers, transformers and transfer equipment. You will operate, maintain, test, install and repair audio, IT, and digital communications equipment/interface devices such as Ethernet and Fiber optic network devices, multiplexing and de-multiplexing equipment, and quality control equipment. You will monitor and configure application interfaces. You will monitor overall system performance and status: acknowledge, silence, respond and report alarms and alerts in the application IAW site Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). You will troubleshoot system hardware and software IAW site SOP's. You will prepare and maintain daily maintenance logs, reports, and records. You will perform functional IT operation and maintenance duties.
