EFMP OUTREACH SPEC NF4 Arlington, Virginia Summary Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is looking for the best and brightest to join our Team! MCCS is a comprehensive program that supports and enhances the quality of life for Marines, their families, and others in the Marine Corps Community. We offer a team oriented environment comprised of military personnel, civilian employees, contractors and volunteers who keep the organization functioning smoothly and effectively. Duties Serves as the EFMP Training, Education and Outreach (TEO) Specialist to deliver and coordinate training and education. In partnership with the EFMP Manager, develop an annual EFMP outreach plan. Work includes delivering and coordinating training for EFMP staff, Marines and their families and coordinating marketing to promote awareness, education and provide resources for the Exceptional Family Member Program. Links eligible family members and their families, to their assigned EFMP Family Case Worker, with a variety of support services and resources. Seeks out eligible members using an outreach concept and approach that fosters self-reliance and a sense of belonging. Ensures emphasis on positive customer experience for enrolled families and acts as the primary point of contact for resources and referral for Marines and families seeking assistance. Delivers and/or coordinates the delivery of training for EFMP staff, Marines, their families, volunteer personnel and representatives of installation and community services on a variety of topics related to individuals with special needs. Develops relationships and partnerships with service providers on the installation and in the community to collaborate on providing training and resources
