BOILER PLANT EQUIPMENT MECHANIC Quantico, Virginia Summary This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Duties You will plan and lay out work from blueprints, sketches, drawings, specifications, guides, codes, and work orders. You will troubleshoot heating boilers, heating systems, and fuel power boilers with complex problems and extensive repairs requiring judgement to locate malfunctions. You will install, modify, overhaul, repair, and maintain a variety of complex heating boilers and/or heating systems, single and multiple fuel power boilers, and associated auxiliary and pollution control and equipment. You will utilize safety practices and procedures following established safety rules and regulations and maintains a safe and clean work environment. You will perform soldering and oxyacetylene welding, cutting, and brazing to shafts, pulleys, bodies, etc. Evaluation In order to qualify for this position, your resume must provide sufficient experience and/or education, knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are being considered.
