Irrigation System Maintenance Supervisor II Byron, California Summary Reclamation is seeking a career professional looking for an opportunity to capitalize on their expertise as a Irrigation System Maintenance Supervisor II. You can make a difference in the West by assisting in meeting increasing water demands while protecting the environment. Duty Location: Byron, California This is not a remote position. Duties The primary duties of this position are: Supervises a crew size ranging from 8 to 12 members in five distinct trades/crafts employees involved in both single craft and multi-craft work projects. Determines the requirements for and schedules manpower, tools, equipment, facilities, and materials on a project-by-project basis, prepares long-term maintenance schedules that adhere to work priorities and requirements established by higher-level supervisors and technical guidance. Prepares detailed schedules on a job-to-job basis for a broad range of activities and projects, follows customary work cycles and sequences in planning work assignments, and identifies major jobs or job sequences to facilitate stakeholder coordination and communication. Coordinates maintenance schedules and system outages with partner agencies to assure a broad integration of activities, coordinates with other maintenance and operations supervisors within the Area Office to plan and support maintenance team activities at other major facilities, recommends changes to schedules, priorities, and work sequences as necessary and makes minor deviations in procedures or redirect resources under direct control to overcome problems such as equipment failure, material delays, or unplanned absences.
