Testing Clerk North Little Rock, Arkansas Summary About the Position: The U.S. Military Entrance Processing Command (USMEPCOM) is a jointly-staffed command staffed by representatives of all branches of the Armed Forces. As a Testing Clerk, you will conduct aptitude and qualification examinations at the Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS) and Military Entrance Test (MET) sites for the applicants of the various Armed Services, based on standards set by each of the services. Duties Conduct aptitude and qualification examinations for applicants of various Armed Services at the Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS) and aptitude examinations for students at high schools. Administer, proctor, and score applicant exams ensuring quality and integrity of examination practices and procedures. Brief applicants on military examination procedures and eligibility requirements. Maintain strict accountability and security of all testing materials and equipment. Brief applicants, distribute and proctor examinations, and score exams. Answer phone and e-mail queries from recruiters, liaisons, applicants, and other management personnel. Operate a variety of office automation equipment. Education FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
