About this role

Supervisory Security Specialist (Disclosure) Fort Bragg, North Carolina Summary About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the JOINT ACTIVITIES, DIRECTORATE OF INTELLIGENCE, JOINT INTELLIGENCE SUPPORT ELEMENT, FORT BRAGG, NC. Duties Manages all formal activities and maintains a continuing and complex disclosure program for the Command requiring extensive knowledge and coordination skills within different Agencies and the Intelligence and Disclosure communities. Acknowledged expert in all aspects of Foreign Disclosure Programs and is responsible for planning, programming, and coordinating the execution on a wide range of authorized international activities in support of plans and methodology. Manage the Foreign Liaison Officers (FLO) Program ensuring assigned foreign personnel are vetted, tracked, contact officer is assigned, and all required documents are on file. Plan and assign work to subordinates determining work schedules and priorities. Review recurring requests for release actions of material to determine the level, type and method of disclosure to selected foreign governments in support of exchange agreements. Assists Staff Officers in interpreting the National Disclosure Policy (NDP) as it applies to the protection of Classified Military Information (CMI) and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI).
