About this role
Supervisory Housing Management Specialist Schofield Barracks, Hawaii Summary This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Hawaii has many outdoor activities all year-round including surfing, fishing, and hiking. Duties You will serve as a housing management Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the U.S. Army, Hawaii housing. You will work with budget, supply, and engineering personnel to develop long-range planning and preventive maintenance programs to replace furniture and furnishings for non-privatized units. You will serve as the principal advisor for the Basic Allowance for Housing (BAH) for all services for housing cost determinations in Hawaii. You will serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the 1173 Army Housing functional area member of the Army Planning and Services Support Team for the development of the Community Management and Development Plan (CDMP). You will provide oversight of residual Army Family Housing Appropriated Funding.
