Supervisory Civil Engineer (Hydraulics) Jacksonville, Florida Summary About the Position: Incumbent will works under the supervision of the Chief, Engineering Division, who makes program and project assignments, outlines policies to be followed and objectives to be attained, and establishes relative priority or target dates for completion of assignments. Duties Direct the development of hydraulic designs for flood control projects. Advise the Division Chief and the Commander on water resource engineering risks. Execute organizational budgets utilizing business principles to maximize resource effectiveness. Oversee the execution of water resources engineering projects. Communicate performance expectations clearly to establish a mutual understanding of job requirements Education FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
