Student Trainee (Information Technology Management) New Cumberland Defense Logistics Center, Pennsylvania Summary About the Position: Position(s) will be filled under the Department of the Army Pathways Intern Program. Click here or more information on Pathways program participation. This position serves as a Student Trainee (Information Technology Management) for U.S. Army Security Assistance Command located at New Cumberland, PA. Position may be non-competitively converted to competitive service after completion of program. Duties Pathways Internship positions provide for development and training. Assignments become more responsible as incumbent increases knowledge and skills through work experience and academic training. At the full-performance level, you will be expected to: Apply available technologies and basic management principles to adapt computer methods to a variety of subject matter situations in a highly technical communications environment. Perform analytical work related to integrated systems, computer programs, and/or equipment. Assist senior staff members in the collection and analysis of data, performing a variety of duties with an increasing degree of difficulty and responsibility. Participate in a variety of projects utilizing basic computer skills to provide assistance in evaluating requirements and procedures and assist with the preparation of technical and administrative reports. Education For this internship, you must be seeking a degree that is relevant to this position. This occupation has specific educational requirements for entry and applicants must show evidence that their planned academic program will meet those requirements (i.e. transcript reflecting enrollment in applicable programs).
