General Maintenance and Operations Supervisor Fort Jackson, South Carolina Summary This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA to meet Critical Hiring Needs for recruitment and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service About the Position: This is a PERMANENT position as a General Maintenance and Operations Supervisor with the Directorate of Public Works, Fort Jackson, SC. Duties Coordinate a variety of general maintenance related operations performed by work leaders, and journeyman level workers in accordance with regulatory and organizational guidelines. Direct employees within a variety of general maintenance and repair tasks in accordance with mission requirements. Assure that equal employment opportunities are practiced in accordance with regulatory and organizational policy. Establish the standard operating procedures for the branch in accordance with organizational guidance. Make visual and operational inspections of work accomplished to ensure facilities are maintained in an acceptable state of repair. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
